How we work

We use artificial intelligence, and we don’t hide it. But between the machine and your child, there’s always a person. Here’s how it works.

1. We pick the question

We start from what kids ask, what’s happening in the world and what they’re learning at school.

2. AI helps with the first draft

It helps us research, write and create illustrations.

3. We check that it’s true

We verify the facts and fix anything that isn’t accurate.

4. We check that it’s right for kids

Alicia reviews the language, tone and approach so they fit the child’s age. With difficult topics (war, politics, loss) we aim to explain without frightening.

5. We check every image

No six-fingered hands, no three-tailed dogs. If an image has mistakes, we fix it or throw it out.

6. We publish and listen

If you spot a mistake, let us know and we’ll fix it. That’s how we learn too.

Difficult topics

Some of our content deals with hard subjects, like war or the children who live through it. We do this on purpose: we believe these are conversations worth having at home and in the classroom. Every resource is designed to open a conversation, never to shock.
